Matt and I met at work about nine years ago, and we were able to get to know each other as friends for about a year before he left to go back to school; we started dating shortly thereafter. Our first date was on Matt's birthday, May 2nd 2004, and we got engaged on my birthday, December 9th 2010. We share many common interests; we both love travel, movies, music, good food, and making each other laugh constantly. We often get help in the laughter department from our Basset Hound, Elmer. We've had a very happy life together so far, and we're both looking forward to many more happy years together. We're also excited to start a family after we get married.

We chose Maui for our wedding because we were lucky enough to have visited once before, and we both had a great time. It's such an amazing place - beautiful, laid-back, and perfect for such a special occasion. We plan to have a quiet sunset ceremony on Kapalua Beach. |
