Kristin noticed a strange new person in her class and decided to introduce herself on a break. She was the first person to greet Shane in his new cohort in the Master of Social Work program at Kennesaw State University.

After becoming fast friends- the two decided that friends cuddle. It was all downhill from there. The couple fell fast and hard, luckily they found a lasting love full of compassion and room to grow together.

Kristin and Shane have quickly rooted in Colorado, adding new friends and supporters to their already formed group of friends. Colorado has quickly become home and the couple secretly wishes to recruit several out of state friends to the new center of the universe that is Colorado.

Shane and Kristin have found a way to be fully supportive of each other as they work in the same field. Not only do they share the passion for being helpers of human kind and believers in equality, they work in the same building and may be caught taking lunch breaks together.

After coming home from a sometimes grueling work day, they enjoy taking the pups for a walk and cooking together in their tiny kitchen. (One day the couple hopes to attain what they call a two butt kitchen) Shane and Kristin look forward to growing with time and plan to start a family sometime in the future after finding their more permanent home.
